The alpha was on the move. Bandido was almost always moving. This time, however, it was on the heels of a now fully grown aqua dragon. The fox's steps her light a silent as she trailed the low flying dragon. After the alpha had finshed her another of her treks about her pack's massive border, she had gone to check on the two newest additions she had found recently. There was only one problem, well if you could call it a problem.
Bandido had come across an aqua dragon egg. If anything, the fox had quite a fondness for the species. Whether it was because one had nearly killed her once, or she simply liked their naturally fierce nature, there wasn't a sure explanation. The problem now was that one of the slightly older dragons, a pure blooded aqua, had been making attempts at getting at the young hatchlings over the past couple weeks. The two newest hatchligh were under the watchful eye of Shadow Blaze, a massive red and black duality dragon. While he was enough to deter Morana, open targets without much protection were fair game.
Morana had apparantly scented the young tigers as well as their mythic counterparts. At first, she thought the silver-blue dragon simply caught scent of a lone deer, or some other similiar creature. Bandido's focus had been on the saftey of the young ones, and therefore hadn't bothered to scent the wind for potential pack members or current members. So, she followed, only to make sure the dragoness did not attempt to go after another she wasn't meant to.
It wasn't before long that their pace quickened across the stretches of the Earth pack. Then, it was almost too late before Bandido even realized what Morana had chosen as her target. The dragon's wings were silent, therefore unless one of the young ones were awake, they wouldn't know what was coming. The fox had to act quickly, before Morana reached one of the cubs. Bandido teleported, reappearing beneath the aqua's taloned hands. Within a lightning quick movement, the fox had sank her fangs into the hand of the mythic and quickly invoked her Dragon Heart blessing.
This caused Bandido to skid as she attempted to stop the massive water dragon from reaching the cubs. After a few solid tugs, the fox managed to flip the dragon about, causing her to land on her back. In the course of this all, Morana managed to swipe at the alpha, leaving three gashes on the right side of the fox's face. In the heat of the moment, Bandido flinched but payed the injury no heed for the moment.
With the aqua grounded, the vix disappeared and reappeared at the dragon's head, locking eyes with the beast, "What the devil are you thinking? How many times to I have to tell you to leave the young ones alone!" Her voice was elevated, and if the thud hadn't already awoken the sleeping ones, her yelling certainly would have finished the trick. Morana simply gave a low growl in response as she carefully rolled away from Bandido. The aqua's dark eyes narrowed as she glanced from the vixen and to the cubs and mythic youth. There was an aqua dragon among them, she just knew it. Morana growled as she cursed Bandido mentally and stalked away.
The fox remained unaware of her minor injury as she moved towards the small group. She was quick to notice Zea in the tree, so that was who she addressed first, "You'll have to forgive that... It's diffucult to keep Morana in check sometimes." She looked back to the departing dragon's direction. Bandido found it difficult to keep her focus on Zea and the sleeping youths with the aqua still well within eyesight.
