He finally dropped his burden of freshly slain rabbits in a flat, dry clearing that served as a good meeting point within the pack territory. Bell did the same, helping to arrange the food neatly, then proceeding to hover around the fox like a mother hen. "That's all well and good, but you'd do better not to exhaust yourself so! Chasing rabbits all night long without a wink of sleep. Honestly... Here, you lie down over there and let me assemble the pack." The miniature dragon pushed her vulpine master over to the softest, shadiest corner in the area and ordered him to stay and rest once again before flitting off to comb the territory until every pack member had been invited to eat. She couldn't let her master's generous work go to waste, after all.

"Master, I did warn you that you would overexert yourself," the holly dragon said disparagingly as she followed the worn out black and white fox into the pack land. Between them they carried enough rabbits to feed the entire community.
