Posted by Bandido on February 16, 2007, 2:55 am Bandido growled as she continued to pace. Her mis-matched eyes focused on nothing, even given only her green eye was full functional. The fox didn't care what others thought of her. She was slowly beginning to get the feeling that the only reason she was feared was because of the company she kept. Dragons... Many of them skilled fighters, though there were a few that were quite docile. Bandido didn't care, they were her family. Many of her scars were due to raising several of said dragons, one of them nearly killing her. The fox was tough, and she did not need her dragons in a fight. Bandido had her own strength and skills, all of them mastered to drain as little of her energy as possible. This was something she was certain others knew little of. After several moments, she paused. It finally occured to her that Eeva Lena had yet to return with Tellia Kallisto. This concerned her. Even with River of Styx and Kuriyo constantly searching, she was still concerned. Bandido had a feeling of what might happen to the renegade Red-Winged dragon. Kuriyo and RoS constantly returned, giving where they searched. Nothing... No signs of either dragon. To top it all off, her cat-faced griffin, much like a son to her he is, had discovered a yellow egg on their way back from Ice pack. It had recently hatched into a yellow scaled dragon that Stalmardra so lovingly named Salvatore. She knew they were safe, the young hatchlings. Here, she knew they were safe. Bandido had taken special care to leave fighters back in the pack, just in case things went wrong. Now, things had gone wrong... Her pack was in danger (even with its sparce members) as were many others on the mountain. The fox had to be ready for anything, and the pressing times made it harder and harder to do so. Especially with some rampant creature out eating most of the prey... Bandido sighed as she plopped down onto the snowy ground. Too much all at once... No... Never too much. She was quickly back on her feet. Constant vigilance, she told herself as she moved back towards her pack's borders to do her patrol, checking on Rauko Runya, Kitana, and Leiorik for any possible activity.

The fox was pacing. She had only skirted the human lands, not long enough to be spotted, and saw no signs of Lestat. On top of that, his scent was scarce in those regions. Finally, Bandido was back in more familiar and more comfortable lands. Her pack was her home, and so this is where she was most comfortable. The black vix was still uneasy, even being in her packlands. Maybe it was nothing, but then again, she kept telling herself that the collie was out there somewhere.
