The fox entered slowly, seeming to have quite a bit of difficulty as he moved. He was not injured, though. Closer inspection revealed that he was attempting to carry something round and brown in color. It was an egg - either a large bird's egg, or, perhaps, a very small dragon's egg. Either way, Tsuki was being extremely careful with it, and as soon as he was safely within the pack territory, he sat down in a slightly curled position, tucking the egg safely into the thick fur of one tail and covering it with the other to keep it warm.
It was at that point that Wintermoon flew overhead with her message, and Tsuki had to stifle a curse. He had promised to stand by Bandido in the war, but now he had this egg relying on him for protection and warmth. How could he do both at once?
