"That's all right. I'll just have to investigate the other packs myself. Thank you for your help, Bandido. I hope to be fighting by your side soon," he said with a toothy grin.
He dipped his muzzle slightly and then turned, tail swishing steadily behind him. Following her instructions, he stopped at what he judged to be a good distance from the boundary of the packland and took a deep breath, about to howl out the name that Bandido had given him.
"Uncle Lestat!" He was startled into silence by the call. "There you are!" a female dragon of mixed breeds sailed down to land in front of him. "Wintermoon sent me to tell you that she's done with her spy mission. Your brother was worried about the war for a while, but since you paused your activity, he seems to have forgotten about it."
Lestat nodded, another smile forming. "Thank you, Kitten. I'll return with you shortly, but I have to talk to someone first." Again, he breathed in and lifted his head high, letting out a loud howl for the one named Kuriyo, while Kitten stood back, waiting patiently.
