Silver femme saunteres into the pack lands, wings tucked tightly to her slender sides. She raises her greying muzzle to the wind and barks a short call that echos dully into the distance. After a moment she picks her way carefully down the hill, blue eyes narrowed. She finds a shaded spot beneath a bough and settles onto her haunches, silver tail curling around her sniewy legs
