Posted by Juno on April 15, 2006, 5:35 am Juno sniffed at the border before shrugging and stepping over; somebody new had taken over, although she wasn't heavily concerned for just who it was she might be sassing for her none-too-careful reentry. It was true; a fight wasn't something she longed for, as running away from dogs and after their sheep was tons more entertaining for her. Battling wasn't something she had ever gotten the knack of; teasing, perfect, battling, no. The scent of the wolf Nightmares of the Past was vaguely familiar; had he not once joined this pack in the days that WR and Lelio ruled? Silver Paws, a wolf Juno had grown to like, also seemed far away. The small winged fox who had also lived here, not a trace. "So, it's like starting fresh," Juno murmured to herself, meandering silently over the vast lands. "And who is to say those familiar faces have not come across a more suitable fate? Or do those fateful moments we once all shared stand for nothing? Perhaps memories are made to be a part of the makers' souls...." Juno said rather blankly to herself. Yes, now she was talking to herself, it had been some time since she conversed with another. Time since she hunted with wolves, time since she chided the dogs and sassed the pesky egotistical wolves...time just flew by and light feathered wings. The recurring thought of the former wolves made Juno feel somewhat empty. Life was so exciting! Life was cool! But was it still exciting? Still cool? Still great to live for? Life was something she had loved, been so full of, and she didn't plan on giving it away anytime soon, not for any foolish puposes. No, she served her own self. Now, a better question was whether or not to rejoin, if she even had to. Well, that was up to the new Alpha, or Alphess, now, wasn't it? Perhaps it was. With this in mind, Juno sat, disliking to stay still, yet doing so, bushy tail curling over her small and quick-moving paws, sharp eyes waiting for the best.

Her thick white pelt blew lightly in the spring breeze, and her eyes glowed like golden orbs. It had been so long since she had come here, yet she had left from all the terrors that had torn the pack apart. She sniffed lightly, and the scents that had once been familiar were now all-to dim. The wolves she had known were gone, and it made the air feel so light, so lonely. Juno could not say whether she liked this or not. In their early lives, they had been like a family... but something tore them apart. And they all fought, then slowly faded away....
