the Democrats take both houses of Congress. Then I don't think we will go in at all. I guess you are indicating that OIL is a primary reason for regime change in Iraq. THAT is sad. I always maintained that the U.S. should have stayed in Iraq following the Gulf War and operated the oil fields until we repaid our national treasury (and those of our allies) plus collected enough to pay for this second round. I wish we could do it this time. Fulfill all the contracts Iraq has with any countries and stuff our treasury with oil profits. We would agree to abide by OPEC prices unless they becase unrealistic. Just set up a perimeter around the oil fields and operate just as if it were Texas. Maybe even make Social Security sound.
