The CIA has told us there is no imminent threat.
If Bush has proof of a nuclear program, he should show it to us.
There would be nothing wrong with that.
It would have no bearing on our battle plans.
This is about Bush family pride and oil.
Our relationship with the UN has the force of a treaty.
Bush has no choice but to "acquiesce".
Otherwise the US would be no better than Nazi Germany from a moral standpoint.
One problem I have with Bush is that he never seemed to have a well thought out program.
He stumbled and bumbled all over the place.
Early on it was: "I'll make the decision."
Later is was: "I don't need Congressional action."
Then a speech to the UN.
Then a request for Congress to act.
If you think most of the people in the US haven't picked up on his stumbling around, you better do some research.
He is a one-termer.
