I must tell you that few so called conservatives are pro abortion and pro gay rights. First about abortion, one has read up on fetal development. In the yellow pages, local clinics will prform the procedure up to 22 weeks. What we do know about about a 22 week old fetus tells us that it developed far beyond a glob of tissue, making it HUMAN. Anyone in the abortion lobby that denys that they are killing a human being is a damned liar. Does government have the responabilty of protecting the helpless? Hell yes they do! As for the supreme court being all pro abortion, that is BS, since Rehnquist was on the court in 1973, and was on record as "dissenting vigorously". During the Antita Hill hearings, she testified before congress that Clarance Thomas disagreed with her on the abortion issue. Is she pro-life? NOT likely. also if all judges are pro Roe V Wade then why do the femi-nazis demand a litnus test on the issue? Charles Pickering was shot down in large part becouse they feared he would be pro life. The leftist wakos are scared!
Did not the founding fathers state something concerning LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PERSUIT OF HAPPYNESS. I take it that all innocent folks have a right to live, not be killed just for the hell of it. If abortion rights were not covered by the framers of the costutition , then where does this so called "right to a abortion" come from?. God?? No way there!!! the Bible leaves no leeway in order to kill SOMEONE just because you "choose" to out of convinence. ALL people have value in the eyes of God and if a church does not teach that then find one that teaches from the Bible.
As for homosexuals, I do NOT believe in harrassing them. I do NOT condone assaulting them. "Don't ask.. Don't tell" works for me. I do not care for witch hunts to "out" people. This does not mean however that they are intitled to any legal status such as marriage or deomestic parnership insurance. And yes, there are times when it should be legal to discriminate against them. If the Catholic church had discriminated against gay priest a little harder, then they would not have had these little boys being raped.
Also the media has painted a softer more gentle picture of these people. flowers at valentines day and sweet walks on the beach, the so called true love story.
In reality, the homosexual commuity is not so romantic. The number one(50%) spread of AIDS is male anal sex where one man's rectum or anus is ruptured and bleeds. The AIDS epodemic is aggravated and fueled by the fact that gays have an infidelty problem. So much for flowers and walks on the beach at sunset!! Lets not forget the oral things they do to each other. YUCK!! What does the Bible have to say cancerning Homosexuality? IT'S A SIN!!!
