Buchannan is an isolationist and Periot is an idiot, although I voted rather than vote for Lyin' Daddy Bush. The definition of conservative you quoted is right on target and your Republican friends are not meeting the tests. Dumbush proposes the biggest increase in the size of the Fed Gov't since LBJ. Points - The Republican Supreme Court does not agree with you about Roe V Wade. Are you opposed to constitutional rights for gays? Just because you don't agree with the concept is insufficient to make same sex marriages illegal. The founding fathers could have, and did NOT, address abortions. Many of the founding fathers were not Christians, you know. In fact most of the leadeship of the founding fathers were Unitarian Universalists. Which is more "immoral" - Abortion or government intrusion on individual rights.
