I understand that you are not a dye in the wool Democrat, however your post do seem more anti Republican than anti Democrat. Don't you want Huchinson(Ark) Graham(SC), Dole(NC), and Alexander(TN) to win? I DO! As a white Southerner and a member of the so called "relgious Right", I do not feel that MOST Democrats represent what I desire for our nation. Taylor and Shows may represent Mississippi well, they are out of step with their political party. The Democrat party has been taken over by the Clintons and Kennedys, at least on the national level.
Yes, I will ansure your question concerning New Jersey. Forrester was leading in the polls. Therefore it would seem that many people up there do feel that he shares their values. Lauternberg will win due to his high profile name recongition. He retired from the Senate 2 years back and is a familiar face. If he wanted to return, then No PROBLEM, just play by the rules. He should have run for the Democratic nomination against Torricelli.
