I remember the movie & went to see the Broadway show. Tim Curry (who was my main reason for going to see the musical) had the Alan Swan part that Peter O'Toole played in the movie. I can't recall the music, but I can definitely picture Douglas portraying this character. Interesting news that they have decided to rework this.
And a play about Alexander Hamilton--don't know much about him, but I'm very good at using the money with his picture on it. Hey, come to think of it, I can see Douglas portraying Hamilton--there's a similarity in their looks. Check those $10's in your wallet & see if you agree. LOL!!!!
