Two questions

I keep hoping we will hear something over the summer, but I wonder about two things:
1) How is Domo coming with rehab?
2) When will the NCAA rule on whether Parker can play the fall semester?

It will take the freshmen (plus Rodgers) until almost the WCC season to get used to D1. The early season is what worries me.

there is no rushing the NCAA...they work by their own schedule....you hear when you hear

Re Rogers. I saw on the NorCal blogspot website that he might RS this year. It was mentioned in their Tao announcement. I think they said it was the original "plan" at least.

To me the key is to retain his eligiable 1/2 year from last year. Thus giving D'End two full years on the Hilltop. We know that he would be able to play come WCC season in spring term, but it would be a shame for him to only have 1.5 years as a Don.

Seems pretty open and shut case to review, I guess he can't go Medical Redshirt for the fall term of 2011, since he is not a senior.

I would rather see Frank playing than Tao next year. He has 1 yr. of pretty good B-Ball behind him. He played a big part in Cabrillo being the 2012 Coast Conference South Champions & being in the State Tournament Elite Eight.

I think Frank and Tao need to work together and get the needed D1 experience at center... sitting out a year does not necessarily equate to a better basketball player when they return... just my opinion.

If that article is the Kevin McKarthy that played baseball for the dons in the 80's then I would give some weight to the article because he was very bright if not no weight to the article.

I have always been of the opinion that you only redshirt a JuCo transfer if you believe he's simply not ready to play. To that end, these appear to be wildly differing opinions: he will start....or he can't play.

Me, I prefer to have plenty of bigs in the stables, ready and willing to play. I am not holding out much hope of Tollefson being a contributor as a big man. Rogers, Christiansen and Xu will all be key.

After watching Toll. play in the pro am last night, he's not going to be a true 4. Not strong enough.
