Bad grades 4 UConn & 9 others

It warms my heart to read UConn & 9 other bb programs get NCAA tourney bans for poor student grades. Or should I say poor participant grades. Relative athletes who have attended some of these pro prep universities told me the players made no pretense they were sitting around the pool for anything else than playing ball and eventually going pro. I guess the NCAA was forced into this sanction.

Sorry Dave, but your Towson got caught in the outgoing tide with UConn & 8 others. Look at the good side, little Towson was the last listed by the NCAA & even I missed it in the article. I got so excited about UConn getting slapped, I didn't equate it with your string. I guess the big boys take the little guys down with them.

It was for the 4 seasons prior to last season when Pat Skerry took over so we will be in good shape now that we have cleaned house!

Pat Kennedy pulled this same crap with Florida State back in the day!

I had heard earlier this year that the NCAA would be cracking down on the APR issue and I'm glad they have!

Towson will be dancing in 2013-14 for sure.. New Arena.. and now we got Four McGlynn... watch out!

Dave, I know that you didn't like Pat Kennedy, but look on the bright side.
He made Towson a household name.
You just can't buy advertising like that.
