Watched him the other night and offensive players are driving past him with ease. It will probably take him another year to see if he can regain some quickness. Right now he is really slow and probably could not start at Gonzaga. - Re: Adam Morrison tore up the summer league this year

The problem is he doesnt have another year. This isnt college where they have 5 years in a program and they have time to develop. This is the last year of his contract.
If he rarely gets off the bench for the Lakers this year, how will other teams in the league know if he can help them? Unfortunately, it looks like he is on borrowed time. - Re: Adam Morrison tore up the summer league this year

As a life long Lakers fan, it was was pretty painful watching him get a ring last night. It took the gloss off the ring ceremony for me

Disagree....on everytime there can not be all stars. I was very excite that a WCC player recieve a Championship Ring last night.

I attended the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and watched all the Lakers and Warriors games and also met Jim Bus. My friends and I had the floor seat who are USC, UCLA, Stanford and CAL Alums. I said hello to Bill Cartwright at the stands and the man is in good shape. David Stern was there, met Cuban, and some of the NBA owners. I will be back again in Las Vegas to watch Dior Lowhorn if he gets drafted and I hoping he does get drafted. Moreover, I put some good words about Adam Morrison to Jim Bus because I was at the game USF vs Gonzaga playing in San Francisco War memorial. I mention that once he is fully 100% he can light-up the scoreboard because I remember that game and I was rooting for USF and I was hanging around with Los Locos at the floor stands because the security told me to join em and root for the team so I did. Man were we loud on that game and I lost my voice. I will attend all of the home games and some of the away games against St. Mary's and Santa Clara. I am excited that the team has depth and rooting for Lowhorn to make it to the NBA. It would be nice to see some USF Alums playing in the NBA again. The facts are... Larry Brown traded him over to the Lakers for Vladimir Radmanovic because Morrison did not provide the "marksman like" shooting from outside.
I honestly thought Morrison desire to win and work ethic would have made him a solid NBA player. A knee injury at age 23 did not help things but unfortunately he's lost that magic so to speak that he had bottled up during his college career.
You never say never but once the contract expires he's off to Europe unless of course the Lakers become "snake bitten" with injuries and he gets a month or so of minutes to show that he belongs.
Thems the breaks and luckily he has the $$$ to deal with them easily. - meanwhile, the other zag in the association...
