yawn. Granted we don't have a national championship but that video is straight black and white. When you refer back to your success and you can't even watch it in color it's pretty pathetic.

When you cling to highlights of Adam Morrison from several years ago, that is pathetic. USF has a legacy that Gonzaga will never be able to match in any color.

Forget about a National Championship or a Final 4 Zaggie. You have ONE Elite 8 and that was 12 seasons ago. Other teams who have made the Elite 8 since then: Kent State, Temple, Davidson, Oregon (2x), Iowa State, Tulsa, Purdue, St. Joseph's, UW - Milwaukee, UW, Marquette, George Mason and Xavier.

Hell, LMU and Idaho State have made it to the Elite 8 once.

George Mason has a Final 4. Marquette has a National Championship. Xavier has multiple Elite 8s.

In the grand scheme of NCAA basketball accomplishmnents, Gonzaga is pretty insignificant. A big fish in a small pond who wins a weak conference every year and gets drilled when they play the big boys (See Memphis and UNC last year). Oh, I forgot Portland State too.

What is "pathetic" is the Zags' fans who think the Zags are an elite program. Not ranked in preseason. Not a top 25 recruiting class this year or next. I don't get it.

It does not matter if it is in color or black and white, what matter is that you won the Mens Basketball NCAA National Championship and that is what everyone is playing for and that speaks volumes. I am proud of USF winning both two national championship and one NIT Championship.

Hey kid, you should read the book "The Dandy Dons" by James Johnson and how we won those two back-to-back championship.

Keep on dreaming Zags... or maybe in your dreams only; never an elite 8 anytime soon . All you have is nothing but a big nightmare every March Sadness eclusively for you. Remember Adam Morrison weeping? Have you seen Bill Russell, K. C. Jones or Bill Carthright wept in any basketball court?
Whether an NCAA tournament, NBA Playoffs, or in the Olympics. Thats right, has any of your
players played in an Olympic Games? Well, the rest is HISTORY!!!

Funny line.
The video the Zag fans are watching is called A Decade of Excellence. You can purchase it for $20 it is good for a few laughs.

Personally I think they should have named it A Decade of Being Slightly Above Average. Unlike most zag fans I realize a single elite 8 run is not excellence.

It seems that the zags were the one talking and looking down at USF Dons if you follow the thread. Especially, adding their link in this site. The main point is that the San Francisco Dons have 2 Nation Championship and Zags does not have one. Rex Walters and the coaching staff are doing a great job in recruiting and the seven players that played against the Zags last season were mostly freshmen. They were able to hang with the Zags and I want to see this match-up against the Zags. You Zag fans need to worry about Portland they will be a handful for you guys. In addition to Michigan State and Duke both are my cousins Alma-mater. Worry about us when you play against us and I do like our chances this season.
