Zags are starting 2 Freshman guards and a Walk-on (Bell, Pangos & Hart). In addition, HUGE minutes are given to an undersized former walk-on (Stockton). I don't believe any "rationale" human is upset or shocked that they have lost 2 single digit losses to top teams.

Give the Freshman time to learn to play together. They will be much better when league play starts. Just like we've seen BYU improve with their young guards.

    Regarding your points:
    1. Yes Stockton is better than last year. However, I don't think he's consistently better than Pangos. They are fairly equal at this point alternating who has the better game. Pangos is a much better defender.

    2. Marquis who? Seriously disappointing. Can only hope he realizes he is a Senior and "gets it together" by league play.

    3. Harris is horribly bad on Defense. A VERY lazy player. Has one solid move to the hoop and decent hops. Wish the coaches would teach him the German word for HUSTLE. Rob Jones will eat him for lunch.

    4. Agree, GU shouldn't be top 25. Doubt people in Utah or the WCC are smiling. This team will only improve (remember Guy Landry Edi is eligible on Saturday). They will certainly challenge for the league crown... again.

BTW, both BYU and SMC are improving week to week. It's good coaching. I don't think Few wins as much as he has without being a good coach. I think the Zags lose to Arizona on Saturday... Then go on a run winning a bunch in a row similar to last year. This team definitely has it's weaknesses and is vulnerable to being knocked off.. we will see how Carter, Dower and other no-shows respond.
