There are really two schools of thought for the child of a very good (not even great player). If they go to the old man's alma mater there will always be those that say "why isn't he like the old man." If they go elsewhere and he produces "where is the loyalty?" To use John Cox as an example, he carried it off with a great deal of ability and class. We had a great player's kid a few years ago that didn't.
I feel the Zags are lucky to have Stockton's kid, to me (I never played the game) he looked more team oriented than some of their other players. But, of course, the faction of their fans who do not like the kid obviously know more than Mark Few.
