I live in Spokane, though. Hard not to be a Zag fan living here. This community completely embraces GU basketball.
But does it matter. Facts are facts, regardless of school affiliation or fanhood. Just because I may cheer for a team, it doesn't mean that I can't be fair, balanced and objective.
I'm actually a fan of ALL the WCC teams. I love the conference (except when they play OSU). In fact, the Cowboys are winless against Gonzaga. 0-3, I believe. Last year, I was in attendance New Years eve in Spokane, wearing my OSU letter jacket watching the pokes get dominated by 20. As a sports fan how can you NOT be impressed with that. Winless. OSU has all the money, all the resources, all the 4*/5* recruits and yet can't beat tiny Jesuit GU from the frozen North. Next year, hopefully @ Gallagher Iba in Stillwater. I attended EVERY home game while I was a student. Was there when Sutton came, watched Byron Houston dominate and Bryant Reeves transform from Jethro to STUD.
