It would be helpful if the critics knew what they were talking about. All that crap about us having mediocre players or some player cannot get his own shot. If you look at most big time college teams they have one or two exceptional players and then a lot of decent players. (Let me pick a couple of players to pull off of Syracuse or Louisville and then see what the rest look like when they have to carry the load) If we lack anything, we lack the huge center than cleans up everybody's mistakes or the special 6'6" shooter athlete that the defenses have to run to and help on. That does not make our players mediocre. We have good nucleus. (what do you think we would look like with those two New Mexico State bigs on our team?...we would be a lot better than NMS...you think Paris would do better if there was an athletic 6'9" player threatening the other side of the goal?) There are a couple of hundred division one teams who would be happy to have our nucleus. The rebuilding job is just not a finished product yet and meantime we have to listen to comments like the "can't make their own shot" business. What strength do you think "bounce and spread offenses" plays to? What does Rashad do for a living? (by the way, I said he look injured after the first game and I was right). What is Doolin doing at the end of games? C'mon man. If you go ask Mark Few what bothers him about USF he will say it is tough to keep them from dribble driving on us...and yet we have local geniuses who have now declared our players cannot make their own shot.
