They were underrated
The Billikens had been dismantling the competition prior to the LMU game.. the Lions really lucked out in the scheduling against St Louis, they got them on something like there 5th game in 7 days? the day after they got ranked in the top 25 after winning a tournament.. if there ever was a trap game, you just saw it.
