Caught his tidbit on usfdons.com.... Nice that he is jumping aboard but he is a classic example of an alum who disappears when times get tough but jumps back in when times are good again! IF HE CHOSE TO STOP FOLLOWING AFTER THE DEATH PENALTY THEN BY ALL MEANS.. UNDERSTOOD! However... he stuck his foot back in the pool in December of 2007 and then went running again!
I crush Towson all the time but I've followed them 24-7 since I graduated from that fine institution that did produce the likes of Mike Rowe, Charles "Roc" Dutton, Dave Meggett, John Scherholz and most importantly of all.. to George of course.. Stacy Keibler! I just came off a season where the Football team won 1 game and the Basketball teams never won a conference game! Now I get to watch them in the FCS playoffs come Dec.3rd!
Point being in all this.. follow your team (college or Pro) through thick and thin! Don't walk away from them unless of course they leave like the Dodgers, Browns, Colts, Sonics,etc have... then you got every right to make a change!
Anyhow... just calling out a non "diehard" Dons fan like Urban! All in good nature... he just needs to see his flaw! And then all will be forgiven and he can root,root,root for the Dons!
