Our goal as an Athletic Department is to provide the best opportunities possible for our Student-Athletes to succeed. We can reach those goals by making sure that every seat in the house is filled (with DONS!) on a nightly basis. Per Scott Sidwell, our plan is to ensure that no ticket goes unused whether that be through ticket transfer or ticket give-back technology. We will communicate our ticket exchange program and policy for those who have season tickets before the season starts in November.
In addition, I think it is important for our fans to know that there are no more than 80 total seats (out of about 1,200) occupied by USF faculty and staff members who are season ticket holders. We generate revenue as a department off all of the accounts held by those faculty and staff members. There are no reserved seats given away inside Memorial Gym (except for the PA announcer and official observers) - we simply do not have the inventory.
Once again, our student-athletes and staff are thrilled that we have had so much new interest in season tickets this year. We all need to work together as a USF family to bring our athletic presence in the Bay Area and beyond to the next level starting this year!
