Rowley was in the Princeton offense at Northwestern....centers in that offense play away from the basket and are to take the occasional three....this is not the basketball play that we expect from Kyle at St. Marys, and in his own words he needed to find a program that was better suited to his game
He will be a cog in the defense and we believe he will be tough under the basket....the drawback with Kyle is he came up playing soccer and his growing to 7' inhibited his continuation in that skill sport...he will have to a lot to learn and has been progressing but he is a bright kid and a hard worker...pretty typical of Randy's pick ups
I don't think anyone knows for sure how RB will handle him, remember Randy is very reluctant to start somebody over someone who has been in the program for any length of time....so come the start of the season we will get an idea of where this is going...the biggest question for us this year is Steindl....I think the improved play and maturation of Holt, the return of Page and the addition of McCoy (if his knee is fully recovered) will more than make up for the graduation of McConnel
