I am not sure that having no knowledge is a defense as far as the NCAA is concerned. The NCAA has a history of doing whatever they want and with no discernible logic. They love to use their catch all phrase "lack of institutional control" to meet out punishment. They could use the opportunity to make an example out of this. Way easier for them to slap around a school they probably deem irrelevant in the bigger picture of college athletics.Too early to call at this point. All sorts of sordid information could come out if these guys start to squirm and turn on each other as they look at jail time or have to face the book makers they placed bets with.
