Admittedly, I am not on this site all the time, and perhaps sometimes I miss an occasional “P.S., we still love you guys” moment which may or may not follow the anti-Gonzaga diatribes that seem to flow like water. That said, could we please be kind to our BROTHERS and SISTERS up at Gonzaga? It’s one thing to give Santa Clara a little Hell once in a while….because they are Santa Clara. They deserve it ((((by the way……..it’s a rival thing))))!
I can guarantee this: when USF climbs back to the heights of excellence and stays there for a spell, there will be people oozing out of Who Knows Where-istan claiming to represent USF as fans and boosters. They will act, sound, and maybe look like idiots. We will swear up and down that they do not represent us; that we have no idea who they are, etc. This happens to schools that find success and maintain it for a while. I’m sure that 90% of Gonzaga fans are just like us: if we tickle them, they will laugh. Prick them, and they will bleed. Oppress them, and they will rise…….
…..oh, you get the point.
At least do this: as my Mom would say, if BobZag, JohnnyZag, or any other Knuckleheads sound like what they are, just ignore them.
