Let's be honest....I know a few of you and you've all mentioned to me that no way Bennett would leave. You all listed lots of reasons such as big fish in a little pond, wife loves it here, kids in school, building a program, etc. All valid reasons to stay.
But really, how do you feel knowing that Bennett has/is looking at other schools? There is no way that kind of stuff can be kept secret, so now that we all know that Randy's either looking or open to offers, how do you feel?
Even in the expensive Bay Area, he's making a great salary, has name recognition, has SMC on the map and is argueably the best coach of the six Bay Area D1 teams. Why would he leave? Is he tired of the BCS/Mid Major crap? Or maybe feeling that his run is over and he should get out while the iron is hot?
