I've heard every excuse about lack of students over the years. It finally seemed to turnaround this season. Then, for the biggest game of the year against ancient rival Santa Clara, under 100 show up! That was simply atrocious! And they got out-shouted (too busy sitting and texting) by SCU's travelling students all game long. Add insult to misery! This young and hard-working team deserved a better send off. Was it better than last year, yes. Was it remotely close to Feb 5th. HELL NO! There's no consistency. There's no desire. They need to be prodded and pulled to show up for USF-Santa Clara in a postseason game!
I'm personally tired of hearing every lame excuse. The players won and they were exciting and they were fun. What now?? Bribery? I just don't think it can ever happen at USF "consistently". The student body just mirrors Privett's personality and they rather build a mud hut than have school spirit at a sporting event. Anyway, I'm too dumb and out of ideas to bash the students intelligently anymore, so I'll let this guy perfectly make my point. Just replace the name Maryland with USF:
