SO he wasn't actually brought in by Good but by Bayno before he had to leave. He along with Larry and Vern were brought in with the idea of playing for an NBA workout coach and giving themselves the best chance to get drafted. That all blew up though when some past deamons took control and Bayno couldn't control his anxiety.
On the idea of Good knowing how to coach....he only knows how to coach if you are the opposite team and you know you'll get a win. He plays man to man only, even when he has a considerable advantage with length and athletic ability(ala Syracuse)with its zone. When he does switch to a zone its a base 2-3 that everyone knows how to beat. Thats why we are one of the worst against the 3pt. Then on offense we are even more inept. We have a stud in Viney like others have said the best player not on the all conference team and we don't run a single screen for him and he ends up setting 50% of the screens himself and rarely gets the roll or pop pass to benefit. Overall LMU isn't exctly happy with the coach and if he starts costing us players then it will only continue to go downhill. We have a decent base(too many athletes not enough high iq ball players in my opinion) but the coaching staff has not setup a working offense and has no adjustment ability(why we get killed in the second half).
