I assume that comment was tongue in cheek b/c I can't see anyone other than Mickey winning/deserving the MVP. He's been amazing this year w/ 20.5 ppg, 7.2 a/g, shooting over 50% from beyond the arc.
It will be interesting to see how the votes shake out. MF, RW and RB could all be coach of the year (with RB's stock on the decline of late, MF's rising and RW's holding steady).
New-comer could go to a handful of guys... Roquemore, Ireland, Douglas, Dower. Of course voters (even intelligent coaches) tend to have a short-term memory for these things so Dower's performance of late may have thrust him into the lead. Maybe even puts Carter into the mix. I'd go with Roquemore though. He's been consistent and while Dower has made the most of his minutes his PT has been sporadic.
