That is the line I got too. Not meant to be a parting shot or "BS" as interpreted in earlier post. No hard feelings, in fact, kid is grateful for the chance he got. It wasn't easy for him to leave USF...for all the reasons obvious. It just wasn't the best fit for all parties. It happens.
