Soon after he was hired, I received copies of two e-mail exchanges between him and USF boosters.
One to him said take the booster off your mailing list, I will no longer ever donate. ED's response was fine, done. No real follow up or can I call you and change your mind.
The other was regarding the basketball chair sponsorship. His response was e-mail Julie Congi, not his department, with no real help or saying he will forward her the e-mail.
My reaction after seeing those two was another disaster of a hire.
But, it sounds like he can at least talk a good game and everyone that has met him personally seems to think he has a chance to do fine.
