Yes, but I think in the long run, Heytvelt still hurt the team. He is still out there spinning his tales and lying:

From 6/5/09: "Heytvelt was ordered to do 240 hours of community service. He did more than 300, working primarily with terminally ill children at a Ronald McDonald House.
"That really made me think that those kids aren't choosing to have cancer. They're given that," Heytvelt said. "I realized I had made some really bad choices and that really made me think about every choice I made from then on out.""

From 9/11/07: "Seven months before the upcoming basketball season, Heytvelt completed 297 hours of community service building homes, cleaning at events, and coaching basketball clinics."

Nice that he added helping sick kids over the last 1 3/4 years. NBA officials don't have google?

And, from Chad Forde on ESPN.com today, "Speaking of Gonzaga, several GMs were ranting about big man Heytvelt. "He looked completely disinterested," one GM said. "He was awful. He had his teammates urging him to compete harder. It was weird.""

He is just a dog and bad news. That is why I think Few would have prefered Heytvelt never showed (not to mention the little arrest as well).
