Former Yell Leader, I agree with a lot of what you are saying but if your statement is true "As a matter of fact, ALL teams fund raising efforts this year have been a success, so cheers to everyone that has contributed. Let's build on that success."
Then why the hell did DGM get rid of Greg and lie to so many people on campus that he wasn't doing a good job and performing well. This is just another reason why she should be fired. This was a personal attack by her on Greg because she was threatened and jealous of him. All of you on this Board know that Greg could do a better job than her with his eyes closed...and things would be much more positive, organized and the communication would be better than ever!
When are people going to WAKE-UP and admit their mistakes! Yes, USF Athletics will go on with Greg, under the same pathetic leadership it has had now under DGM, Macmillan and Cross. Can you imagine how much more positive things would be if they made a change, admitted their mistakes and brought Greg back in ANY capacity.
As far as Dumbleton, I like him too, very nice guy, but HE DID NOT replace Greg, Greg was supposed to report to him, and honestly, I think they would have been a great, positive and hard-working team together.
Sadly, DGM didn't want that to happen, God forbid! She is a cancer that needs to go. You are right, Ratto did step down because of his wife's health reasons, but he was more frustrated than anyone with the pathetic leadership. If you know him so well, call him and honestly ask him.
The one thing I totally disagree with you on...and you know it is the truth. THIS MEETING WAS NOT PLANNED FOR MONTHS AND BOTH DGM COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IF IT WAS IMPORTANT ENOUGH, EVEN TO MAKE A SIMPLE APPEARANCE AND THANK ALL OF YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING!
I'm tired of the lies on here and so are many supporters. DGM must go, God hope this Evans lawsuit gets settled soon so we hopefully see some light!
