We had this meeting scheduled for months..and frankly, we don't need them at the meeting in order to conduct and schedule business. We are charged with raising money for athletic scholarships and within the past few years, also the maintenance, care and feeding of the team specific clubs, such as the 6th man, Tip Off, etc. It was a productive meeting and Larry stepped aside not because of either DGM & Charlie, but because of his wife's health. And as much as I love Greg, the G&G club will continue on without him. It is imperative that alumni and friends of the athletic programs support the individual team clubs AND the Green & Gold club. As you know, all the money raised by the team clubs go right to those teams and the monies raised by the G&G club go to athletic scholarships. Your postings as to giving to the team clubs have not gone unnoticed...they are being worked on right now, but not quite as easy as it's made out to be here. Give it some time and things will change..they are changing right now, but it does take some time. For those of you that don't know Eric Dumbleton, get to know him. He's enthusiastic and wants to get this all moving. He needs our help.
