USF is not the easiest school in the world for a home sick 18 year old from the sticks to go get a Big Mac for some comfort.
Sure, other than maybe a school in NYC, a student could probably get better Korean, Thai, sushi, etc than any other college in the country. But, tell that to a kid that never those foods before.
My point is I think with USF, there is a bigger culture shock for many over many other schools.
It would be interesting to see what the drop out rate for USF students is during or right after their freshman year. I would guess that is bigger than most colleges.
