- Green & Gold Club Board Meeting today.

I heard from one of my friends that is a Board Member on the Green and Gold Club that they are having their annual meeting today. He said this is the first meeting since they got rid of Greg because the last one was abruptly canceled the last time in March. I'd give anything to be a fly on that wall and hear what lies DGM is going to tell everyone this time. If I hear of any updates, I'll be sure to pass them on. This will be an interesting area to watch next year now that Greg is gone, I'm sure fundraising will take a huge drop. I agree that we should continue to support the teams and coaches directly through the clubs they have established for each team, but there doesn't seem to be any reason to donate anymore to the Green and Gold Club because that money only goes to the department for scholarships...let DGM worry about raising that money, since she doesn't do anything else. I mean, come on, honestly, can any of your name one thing she has accomplished since she has been here? Let's see, fired Jessie Evans causing the lawsuit that is still pending, hired Eddie Sutton making us a laughing stock in college basketball, alienating many of our alumni, including major donors, and firing the most popular and hardest-working member of the Athletics staff. Sounds pretty good so far? Does anyone evaluate her at the end of the year and hold her accountable for what she does, or is she just free to do whatever she wants?
