I gotta agree (see my post below). It just doesn't do anything for me. I know there was issues in the past with the close resemblance to the Zoro character, causing us to remove much of those aspects from thinks like WMG floor, etc. Im sure that played a factor.
Still...if we are going be the DONS...let's be that. Nothing triggers emotional reactions and pride from a fan base like representing your mascot.
Im sure most of you have seen the ESPN U logo for USF, the giant character "U" letter with the mustache and mask. AWESOME! Add a "S & F" to that logo and id be happy as a clam. Maybe not as our primary, but as the secondary it would be sweet.
Do something fun, something different and something a bit more marketable/merchandisable.
