Seriously, this is the best that USF can do? The new logos are absolutely underwhelming. Typical USF, always a step behind the rest. When many universities and professional teams are creating uniforms and logos that evoke their traditions, USF is trying to create a modern logo. The "old school" block USF and San Francisco speak of USF's rich traditions - why mess with this? The press release said that USF is trying to avoid confusion from other universities. Give me a break, start winning some championships, and nobody will confuse you anymore.
One of the new logos looks like "SF" has fallen in a ditch and can't get out - like our athletic department for the last 30 years. The other "Fransciso" logo looks like it should be on a can of hot sauce or refried beans.
SME should be fired.
