Freak: Got it from Oregon live, the online version of the Portland Oregonian, on Aug. 3. Here's what it said about Jackson:
"The Gaels will also add former Westview star Garrett Jackson to the roster in the 2012-13 season. Jackson will sit out the upcoming season after transferring from the University of Southern California. He'll be a junior with two years of NCAA eligibility remainig starting in the 2013-14 season. Jackson was a two-time Metro League player of the year at Westview. As a senior in 2010, Jackson was a 1st team all-state selection and earned Gatorade National Player of the Year honors."
