Alumna, That's why I posted so to Spock. Our university just didn't concede to the misdeeds like Spock implied. Harry Edwards distinguished between bad human conduct and a series of ongoing heinous acts merely winked at or swept under the rug to facilitate an ongoing and successful athletic program. I shudder at any comparison of USF and the current issue at a Pennsylvania state university. Again, I'm not condoning what transpired on the Hilltop in the '70s. But wouldn't it make a difference in collegiate athletics if all colleges and universities had administrators like our Father Loshiavo! We had dinner together a few weeks back. What a treasure!
