In those days, Spock was evidently a mere tv character. No, our Dons bb did not overrule the university then. Yes, there were some recruiting infractions. I won't specify here. But many close to the department equated them to similar practices in large & seemingly NCAA protected bb programs across the country. This is not to say any were acceptable. When Fr. Loshiavo got his first whiff, he closed our bb program down. We are just coming out of the effects of this few years now! We did what Penn St should have done. And our relatively minor infractions can in no way be parallel with the heinous subject incidents. So, I assume, youthful posters need to study their history before blithely posting.
