"While one could reasonably conjecture over the expected crowd drawn by two teams who have struggled in their own conferences (although Stanford won the NIT last year), this is still disturbing vis a vis the continued laggardly behavior of the SMC athletic department in capitalizing on the Gaels' outstanding record in recent years. What has been the SMC scheduling news so far? No St. John's, no ESPN tip-off game. We do have Harvard and Yale at Moraga, which is an upgrade over Kennesaw State and North Carolina AT&T, but hardly a sure-fire fan attraction. We're better than this, Gaels. We have a strong brand, a strong team and one of the best coaches in U.S. college hoops. USF's coach tweets a lot but is 0-for-his-career against the Gaels. And, of yeah, his starting shooting guard and starting center bolted in the off-season because...who knows, but they're gone."
He loves talking about USF transfers. Mikey Williams was a part time starter at best. But one he blathers. Real USF hater.
