Don Solo, as captain of our Dons racqueters in the late '50s, I always stacked our team. We had one premium & nat'l ranked player who could win at #1, but the rest of us had to really scramble to win. But when the Zags ventured south we could easily cut their gut for a win. Seattle was a different story as was San Jose St with #1 Nationally ranked Whitney Reed. SCU & SMC were toss ups. So just maybe this 7 ft Zag stiff will blame his doubles losses on his partner & present an impenetrable wall at the net!
