OK, sounds like you have thought it through. The big difference is when Pangos gets a double screen at Gonzaga, the defenders are all showing and running back like hell to keep the bigs from dunking on them (sometimes with the exception of USF who lives by the double team). Against Santa Clara, everybody is blitzing the screens and trying to get there before Foster elevates and heats up the three. Therein lies the difference and it is a big one.
I would have granted you, had you argued it, that there may be character differences that must be accounted for.
