The NCAA released its APR Public Recognition list today, which recognizes programs that finish among the Top 10% in the APR rating for their respective sports.
As per usual, the WCC aquits itself very well, with (also as per usual) Portland leading the way.
The full APR rankings will be released in a week.
Here is a list of all the WCC teams that earned Public Recognition for being among the Top 10%:
Portland (6): Men's Basketball; Women's Cross Country; Women's Soccer; Women's Volleyball; Women’s Track, Indoor; Women’s Track, Outdoor.
Gonzaga (4): Men's Soccer; Women's Golf; Women's Cross Country; Women's Track, Outdoor.
Men's Golf Loyola Marymount
Santa Clara (3): Women's Rowing; Women’s Water Polo; Women’s Track, Outdoor.
LMU (2): Women’s Track, Indoor; Women’s Swimming.
BYU: Men’s Basketball.
Pacific: Women’s Cross Country.
Pepperdine: Men’s Volleyball.
San Diego: Women’s Track, Outdoor.
