Member HOF, thanks for the clarification. I know in the past that the Committee made the call on every other year. I specifically asked Hogan about it and that was what I was told. I also asked another staff member from another department and was told the same thing.
Thanks for your efforts and those of your other committee members. In all the years, I have only disagreed with one selection and this was not an athlete. It was someone who was placed in special category. You all do a tremendous job and your contribution of time and energy is greatly appreciated.
I wonder if the costs were a factor in suspending the Hall of Fame dinner for a year. It is not a money maker and breaking even has been the goal.
