In MJ Nodilo's senior year, he was injured during the scrimmage. MJ had been an outstanding three point shooter and he was sitting on the sidelines. That same year, the best rebounder that we have had in recent years, Damien Cantrell, had mono.
They were not 100%. Both admitted to being around 80% when the team won the WCC Championship that year. That team overcame injuries and illness. USF made its first NCAA appearance in 16 years.
These young men are resilient and I have a feeling that Mr. O'Connor's desire to play will help to heal him.
