I lived in upper New York State and LeMoyne had an excellent reputation academically. I cannot recall anything that they did athletically that was notable. But it is a small school and with Syracuse University so close and the network of New York state colleges and universitites nearby too, I never had the impression that they were going to expand. In those days and in my older brother's college years, Fordham was the Catholic and the Jesuit school on the east coast that most Catholic students wanted to attend.
